About

I am a psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience, specialising in working with men facing anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions, and challenges related to relationships, sex, and identity.
My approach is grounded in extensive therapeutic work across a range of settings, including private practice, low-cost counselling services, and community-based mental health projects.
I have held senior positions within the profession, including as Head of a Counselling Institute and as a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in counselling training. These roles have deepened my clinical understanding and strengthened my commitment to high standards of ethical, inclusive, and evidence-based practice.

In addition to my clinical and academic work, I have worked with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), contributing to the development and promotion of professional standards across the field.

I have volunteered for over 25 years with a national mental health charity, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and contributing to broader efforts to reduce stigma and promote emotional wellbeing.
Before training as a therapist, I worked as an HR Director, giving me valuable insight into people, organisations, and the complex demands of contemporary life—insights that continue to shape my therapeutic work.

I offer a grounded, compassionate, and respectful space where men can explore their inner world, relationships, and life experiences with honesty and care.
